Students from Astley Park School visited Southlands High School to make preparations ahead of filming their debut next week in the Creative Arts building.
The film featuring Year 11 students from Astley Park School and edited by Southlands IT manager, Peter Shuttleworth will be shown to their parents at a Leavers’ assembly which will celebrate their experiences at the local school.
Following two weeks of successful work experience, the Astley Park students are focused on what they would like to do once they finish school on 27th June and the film will mark their time in education. It will be a compilation of memories from their time at Astley Park School including their favourite visits. The overall theme is happiness and sharing their successes from their time at school.
“It is great to have such superb facilities and we are keen to offer them to the wider community. Following today’s visit, I am confident Astley Park School will enjoy using the Recording Studio and Green Screen room to film their Leavers’ video. I wish them all the best in the future.” – Mark Fowle, Head Teacher
